Magnolia - Paul Thomas Anderson doesn't let down; a multidimensional film that flawlessly executes one of the most ambitious technicalities of all time.
Harold and Kumar - slapstick humor, but undeniably funny and enjoyable. Can see it becoming cult material.
The Door In The Floor - Jeff Bridges is too eccentric to describe, it's a wild ride. Kim Basinger also does particularly well. Also, the psychology of this particular children's book author is very unique. Difficult to not appreciate his psychology, symbolism for the title, and how he gets inspiration for drawing the artwork for his books.

Get Hero (I loved that movie) - But if at all possible get the international version which I think has better subtitling, but if not the region 1 is alright.
Do not get Alien vs. Predator - That has to be one of the worst movies of the year. It completely slaps in the face the separate films both franchises built up.

I got the Hellboy 3 disc and I love it. I'll probably get Resident Evil too; but the rest of them... nah.
I've seen
Hellboy(3-Disc)
Yeah, loved the theatrical, DC is sure to be fun too
Hero
Depends what you like. It's gorgeous, but shallow
Wild at Heart (SE)
Yes. Really entertaining movie (if a touch odd, it's Lynch, what can you do). Great stuff from Cage and Dern.
Magnolia (SE)
One of the best movies ever made. Great dvd, you need this in your life.
Code 46
Again, depends what you like. Best described as a sci-fi drama. I loved it, worth checking out if you like Michael Winterbottom's other films
