well now i can answer my own question (n yours matty)

The WAKE UP RON BURGANDY is pretty much a movie culled from a deleted story line about a group of rebels calling themselves THE ALARM CLOCK. It also contains alternate takes of scenes that were in the original flick, as well as a few scenes that wer ein the unrated cut of the original. It is pretty funny.. def not as good as the original, ,and i am failry glad they deleted the story line from the original movie, cuz it would have made it feel a whole lot different. Still, for only $10 more, ,id recommend it.

It also has one of the best extra featires i have ever seen on a dvd.. it has rehearsals that the cast did together... runs about 10 min... and it is pretty damn funny.

The unrated cut contains a scene that is funny as shit using the word Fuck. It also has a cut scene of Applegate just wearing a Cooking aperon covering up her boobs (no nudity sadly) and a few other scenes. Also recommended.

Pretty good set i must say.. pick it up

I got the two-pack for $30 a few days ago for my brother, the local DVD place sells DVD's a week in advance. The Wake Up Ron Burgandy comes with a lengthy manual, which is like a journal for Ron Burgandy and little notes from his life, it was cool. The disk itself has some extras that arent on the disk, 30 minutes of outtakes and some Ron Burgandy TV interviews with Jim Caviziel and Burt Reynolds. The main thing on the bonus disk is "Wake Up Ron Burgandy", a whole new skit. I don't know how long it is, but it seems like it's worth the extra 10.

Hope this is some help.
