DVD Nudity

C'mon admit it. Every guy here was looking forward to the Natalie Portman nude scene in Closer. Unluckily for us, thats not happening. So, my question is, what are the DVDs that people have purchased, based mostly/soley on the nudity.

The example I give is Wild Things, even though the movie actually was pretty solid.

i don't believe for a minute she filmed nude scenes for it, despite what the director and she said.

It's all a pr work to get you to go see the movie, then to buy the dvd (which i'm sure is going to come out in unrated sooner or later), in hopes you'll see that "deleted scene".

This reminds me of the Colin Farrell scene in which he supposedly exposed himself. The scene was cut because it was "too distracting for movie watchers" which sounds to me like a ton of bullshit. What all of a sudden a dick comes on screen and all the movie feel inadequate? So nobody's watched more than 5 minutes of porn? Please.

The dvd never featured this cut scene either, it's another ploy to get people to go see the movie. Don't believe the hype, wait for some other sucker to buy it first.

It's just like the upcoming Sin City. Nancy Callohan who's played by Jessica Alba, is nude in all her stripper scenes, but Alba has a no-nudity clause in her movies. Still, i'm willing to bet 100% someone is going to spread a rumor Alba is possibly nude in the theatrical and then the dvd in hopes of increasing sales. It's purely a tactic to get horny men to buy movies (hey, we're ALL guilty of it).

As for me, I bought Color of Night when I was 12 and it hit video. My parents rented one night and I watched it when they were gone and lo and behold, that special scene came on. I was actually pretty shocked, I think it was one of the first times I saw nudity in a movie, period. So I did what any 12 year old would do who wants to see some boobies, I bought it over Empire Records.

I can truly say I've never purchased a movie Just because of the nudity but I can say that it has helped me in the decision process. An example would be Mulholland Dr. Good movie.

Yeh I know. I have been looking forward to a Jessica Alba nude scene since Idle Hands. She was "nude" is the Sleeping Dictionary, but it was a body double...thats even worse than not doing a nude scene in the first place I think.

I'm getting quite tired of reading that response. Did you ever think that maybe some people don't because their not quite old enough? Or maybe because porn movies don't feature the people they wanna see nude. Or perhaps because they don't find the people featured in porn good looking. Sure most people could just buy it but sometimes people have their reasons so next time think of that before posting the cliched, "why don't you just buy porn?" response.

Because I happen to think Katie Holmes is a lot better looking topless than some aids ridden girl who likes having sex with 3 guys at the same time. Just my opinion. If I wanted to buy porn I would buy porn. But Id rather see a Katie Holmes, Denise Richards, or Elizabeth Hurley naked than some porno star. Also, some of the movies these people were in were actually not half bad. The Gift, Wild Things, The Weight of Water, respectively.

Oh and Korny I wasn't trying to sound superior it's just that this thread is about people who buy certain (non pornagraphic) dvds for mostly the nudity and you have to go and post some useless, empty reply.
