I have really gotten into the recent Asian movies; JU-ON,TheEYE, etc..
I didn't really like Ringu,I thought the US version was better,it moved along better than the original.
Anyway,I would like to find some more of these scary little gems,so if anyone knows a few titles to look for I would appreciate the info. Thanks.....

Asian filmmakers are in tune with the 'less is more' avenue, It seems they realize that a horror film should rely on what you dont see, however I dont agree that the remake of "Ringu" ie "The Ring" was a better film...it was awful!

A Tale of Two Sisters. My personal favorite. But, since you liked The Ring, better than Ringu, I'm not too sure you'll like it. Dark Water is also a great movie.
Check out SnowBloodApple (http://www.mandiapple.com/snowblood/index2.htm). It's a great site with excellent reviews of Asian Horror.

There are some i really liked , but im just about bored with Asain ghost stories now , they had a nice little run , and some great ones were made , but i need a break from them , they are becoming redundant .
