Boy they sure took some poetic license with this film. It does have a great transfer and audio, but crap for special features, considering this is a two disc set. Head here (http://www.apollolounge.com/drew/2/2.htm) for the review.

You know what's funny? this dvd was released here back in october but you guys didn't get to see it till january.
Anyway, crappy movie (sans Eric Bana and Peter O'toole), nice transfer, crappy extras (the gods part was interesting. Made me think if the movie wouldn't be better with then in it).
That's my review.

I thought it was a really good movie, only one more week until it comes out for us and i'll be the first in line.

I agree. It's more than likely to end up being in the top five in the year for me. I'll forever cease to understand why so few people liked this movie, I loved it.

i just found the script to be so bad it was funny and a lot of the stuff the characters were saying was so stupid that it made me laugh a lot

Yeah agreed. There was a screener on board the cruz I was on, and I watched parts of it (brought back the hilarious moments in the theatre),,,
for starters, when Brian Cox yells during the big battle between pARIS and the other dood? can't remember.
oh yeah and the old geezer looking engaged on top of the walls of Troy, watching the battle.
You couldn't pay me to see it again in its entirety, so I can't give you any more off the top of my head. ;)

I liked troy but the extras were crap.. they seemed slapped together last minute. Not what youd expect.. I liked seeing pitt get hit in the face with the spear though.. Very entertaining
