I blind buy most of my DVD's except for the obvious classics that I've seen already, i.e. Godfather, Goodfellas, Fightclubs, Memento etc...but I hate only buying movies I've seen already unless they are really good. The most fun for me is watching a movie I have not seen, and is really good. It's like finding a gift, just that you bought for yourself.

Thankfully, I rented this first. I don't know what everyone else saw, but I viewed the "Extreme Unfunny" version.
I just picked up Blue Collar Comedy Tour Rides Again since enjoyed the first one and personally think that Larry the Cable Guy is one of the funniest and most original comics out there right now.

LA Takedown - I bought this just because it was a Michael Mann movie, and I kind of liked the title. Boy, was I disappointed, this movie is so lousy made I can`t believe Mann has got his name on it. He has proven himself later though by remaking it with a much bigger budget in the form of Heat.
Nurse Betty - Hated it! It would be completely unbearable hadnīt it been for Chris Rock and Morgan Freeman.
Any Given Sunday - Incidentally also the first DVD I bought, and I really like it.
I have probably bought more titles blind, but there is not enough structure in my memory circuits for me to bother start looking.

I hardly get to the movies anymore: 233 DVD that were blind buys. Only a few I really regret. Most recently, the loopy ass movie that is The Rules of Attraction. What a downer movie. I only paid $5.50 at Walmart, so, not a big deal.
