This afternoon, I was browsing in this used bookstore, when I noticed a copy of Halloween III: Season of the Witch. I had no idea whether it was any good or not (hated the movie), nor of how rare it was, but my spider-sense told me that it might be a good idea to pick it up while I had the opportunity. Anyhoo, I was wondering if anyone else had read it. How does it compare to the film? Thanx.

Hmm...I'd think that someone here would have read that book. Well, it's gonna be the next thing I read, so hurry up and tell me if I need to avoid it. ;)

Haven't read it, but i say just go for it!
I love H3 for all its wacky nuttiness and originality, and I bet the novel could expand on it even further. Let us know if there's more info on the mask making warlock and where he comes from.

When I was a kid and couldn't watch R flicks I'd read the books. Movie tie-in are how they are referred to, meaning some guy watched the movie/read the script and wrote what he saw. Typically they don't add anything to the movie, but they may sometimes point out something that was on-screen that you overlooked.
Friday the 13th books were great, loved the little section in the middle with otherwise unpublished pics from the flick.

I have the book and have read part of it. It was okay. I liked the movie better, but it's still nice to have. The book is out of print.
