1. Dickie Greenleaf in The Talented Mr. Ripley (and I'm not just saying it because he was nominated for an Oscar, but he was incredible and the whole scene on the boat between Matt Damon and him was incredible and even made me cringe and believe me I never do for movies.)

The list is subject to change since 2002 brings 3 new movies from Jude Law, including The Road to Perdition with Tom Hanks and Paul Newman and is directed by the brilliant director of American Beauty, Sam Mendes.

And even though he has been nominated for an Oscar for The Talented Mr. Ripley, I think he's an under-rated actor. At least in the U.S. He's much more than just a pretty face and I'm looking forward to seeing more of his movies.

His best performance was definitely in The Talented Mr. Ripley followed by Enemy at the Gates and Gattaca.

He was merely okay in A.I.. He did the robot thing well at the start, but after a while he just seemed to me like a human who likes to fuck. And the lines he was given were truly memorable, not to mention he had an empty as character.

He's a very good actor, and I always look forward to seeing his performance in The Road to Perdition.

Jude Law is a fine actor.
His performance in A.I. is a standout for me because he & Haley Joel Osment made characters that were both as memorable as HAL, C-3P0, R2-D2, & Blade Runner's replicants, & leagues ahead of the AI's on Andromeda.

It was the prequel to the excruciating LOVE HONOUR AND OBEY

This is one of Law's best roles
