... the albino wonder twit!!
http://www.imdb.com/news/wenn/#5
It's getting to the point, that the only people filmmakers will be able to "stereotype" will be non ethnic, generic white guys.
Can't have a flamboyant gay person in your movie.
Can't have a black drug dealer/pimp in your movie.
Can't have a smart asian in your movie.
Can't have a fat woman that works at a pizza place in your movie.
Can't have a Middle Eastern terrorist in your movie (or TV show).
Can't have a down on her luck white OR black girl stripper/hooker in your movie.
and now,
Can't have an albino with white skin and bunny eyes in your movie.
I say fuck it. Ron should get Denzel Washington to play the fucking albino, and see how NOAH fucking likes that... FUCK! "Rights" groups just piss me off. They head out with good intentions, and just get carried away.

What about the grown man sized Q-Tip in Me, Myself & Irene?
Are they gonna recall all copies of the film just to edit Whitey out?
I've said it before and I'll say it again: People are stupid.

they say that the writer of the book described the albino in a certain way.. an dthat they dont want Ron Howard to do that because it is rude to Albinos??!!
Fuck that... the albino is DESCRIBED in the book... Howard needs to stick with the way he was described in the book!
all these rights groups piss me off... they are trying to police the world, its sickening. We got stupid christian groups an dmothers who hear the F word and go ape shit and ruin good tv for the rest of the world. You got stupid civil rights leaders talking shit about a movie set in a barbershop that says shit about Rosa Parks! I get sick of ppl starting conflict with entertainment just because they want to see their fucking names in print!
They got groups for everything now adays... its pathetic... whats next a group for ppl with one testicle bigger then the other?

How many "evil albinos" have been portrayed in movies anyhow?
The only one I can recall was in that Burt Reynolds film Stick.
As for Ron Howard I would change the Da Vinci Code character concerned though.
Not because of any PC pressure levied but because the very idea of an albino villain is so hokey even Scooby Doo would turn his nose up.

The only one I could think of was in the Chevy Chase/Goldie Hawn movie Foul Play.

Powder!! Oh... wait... Everyone was mean to him and threw rocks at him and the movie had a homo-erotic undertone... never mind...

The original version of The Time Machine had those evil pale Morlocks. You remember, they lived underground and ran around like monkeys. Evil bastards!
Of couse, then again it seems that everything that comes out of Hollywood these days portrays "whitey" as evil, nerdy and/or greedy.

I don't know if that's hilarious or to take it seriously. NOAH? I wonder if they've ever been confused with NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) - the weather people.
Oh, and I liked the Denzel casting - right on brother.

You COULD argue those matrix twins are evil albino's but theyre only fighting for a cause they support, and technically they are 'programs' :P.
But yeh, Albino people are what they are, and doing this shit wont change a thing excpet make society more fucked up.
I beleive when takashi miike asked why he makes his films so violent, he asnwered with something along the lines of "my films are so violent so that people so how worng violence is and rid it in the world to leave only love and peace" or soemthign liek that...and if you think of it its not that crazy. Let it be.
And Casper (but his friends call him whitey) was the albino who saved the day in ME, MYSELF & IRENE.

is there some all albino group or something protesting this movie? to all those people having nothing better to do then try to piss people off by changeing somethign thats not thiers to change, such as how characters are described in work of literature they didnt write and have no business trying to portray charcters in a differnt fashion then how the author intended to make thier image look better. try doing something for the good of the world. join peace corp or somethin and leave Ron Howard to his business.
peace out

Just wait until all of the middle class white guys get tired of being kicked around... They will collectively throw down their beer cans (after they're empty of course) and TV remotes and declare in one voice: "We're mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore!"
The last minority to take a stand...

People tend to take themselves far too seriously these days. You have to wonder which "rights" group will be bitching next.
