I'd like to know more about this great british actor, so if you'd list what you think are his best films or performances.
I loved him in that movie, where he played Mussolini, can't remember the title.
He was good in Enemy at the Gates too, his role was too small too.
The man was hilarious in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

Definitely in "Felicia`s Journey" for me.
Bob Hoskins is always worth watching.
I'd say that his most famous film roles remain those in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? & Hook.
And he was wonderful in both films.

Mona Lisa, for which he received numerous critics' awards (and an Oscar nod) in 1986, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit?.

Mona Lisa, definitely. His best performance is in The Long Good Friday. The last scene is one long reaction shot of him in the back seat of a car. He goes through about five seperate and distinct emotions solely with his facial expressions, never saying a word. It's truly brilliant, something everyone should see.

Bob Hoskins is a terrific actor, and I still to this day don't know why he didn't win the Oscar for Mona Lisa (I know, it's because they gave it to Paul Newman as sort of a lifetime achievement award). He was also quite good (and eerie) in Felicia's Journey.
Such a likeable little teddy bear of a man.
