I bought The Village, I looked on the back at the specs...NO THEATERICAL TRAILER?!?!?! I looked at the specs for I, Robot, again, No theatrical trailer!!
My wife and I are borrowing Nicholas Nickelby, and I look on the back, there is a trailer! Why would something (in my opinion) as lame as NN have a trailer, but not something as cool as The Village, or I, Robot have it's own trailer?!
This is my rant...Am I wrong in understanding that the DVD format is supposed to offer the best in quality of audio, visual, and OPTIONS?
Why in the world would anyone (Director, movie company, etc.) not include something as simple as the theatrical trailer on the DVD? My wife had not seen trailers for I, Robot or The Village for months, so I wanted to show her again..."OH WAIT, We forgot the trailer!!"
Why is this not a standard in the DVD industry? It also ticked me off when LotR EE's were released to find no trailer on those either, only the theatrical edition...what gives? The least New Line or P.J. could have done was include the 6 minute super trailer on the RotK EE, but no, they decided to put all trailers on the lame theatrical edition.
*sigh*
