Renny Harlins best flick to date, it's got Viggo - Lord Of The Rings -Mortensen - Kane Hodder of F13th fame amongst others - Lane Smith and a fairly convincing story line, I say fairly, because even though I think Harlin utilises his surroundings to great effect the story line had a few to many plot holes, anyway this isn't a review of said film more of a reminder;)

This really needs a decent DVD release. I haven't seen it for years but do remember it being an atmospheric and scary flick. I also remember being, in light of how good this movie was, pretty disappointed by Harlin's subsequent output.

I saw this when it first came out and it took me by surprise . It was made when horror movies were being churned out every week and most were crap . Prison was a bit different with decent actors , a good script , and some genuingly creepy scenes .
Until this thread came along I'd almost forgotten about it . yet another dvd to add to my wants list .

I thought this was a pretty good movie. decent acting, decent script, and I've always liked Prison settings for some reason. In the end, It is way above average and in my opinion, worth watching.
