Wait a minute, are you talking about the Denise Richards/David Boreanz teen slasher? That was awful? I didn't think it was succesful enough to warrant a sequel. Mind you, the cast are probably desperate enough to show up again (apart from Richards of course, who provided the most entertaining scene in the flick)

I thought the kills were great and the cast was smoking! It did make 20 million and the budget was 10 million so this rumor could very well turn out to be fact.

Yes, yes YES!!!

I hope to God that David Boreanaz will return! (He's sure not doing anything else...)

Well Valentine was a really bad movie so unless this is a drastic improvement I dont' want it.

If you ignore the new TV series he's going to be heading in the not too distant future.

LoomisFan you're like my hero, I also loved "Phantom Of The Opera".

Anyway, I would watch Valentine. I didn't mind the original, Borneaz is really cool and the girls were all boiling hot. Bring on a non-STV sequel!

I did like Valentine and would like a sequel, but I bet they won't make one. I mean, really, rumors are rumors. Where did you read this, mr_gamecube?

IF there is a sequel, it`ll be STV and without Borenez or anyone else from the original. Trust me. And I don`t even think THAT will happen. "Valentine" was a movie that nobody cared about. It was forgotten a week after it`s release.

I heard just on a message board and I couldn't get any facts about it from there so I came here and wanted to know if anyone else had heard it. I am betting it just a rumor so that I why I said I heard a rumor about it. My sources are nothing concrete just someone posted about it.

I thought the first one was like one of those straight-to-video chick flicks (ala Head Over Heels) only people got killed.

Valentine always confused me. Was Boreanez the killer or that chick who used to be fat? Or was it both? Either way, I thought the movie sucked.

Your being too kind here...

I had a very difficult time sitting through this candy assed bullshit!
Valentine...what a fucking joke! This (Cough!) film is just another example of what the major studios consider a horror film, suck doesnt even begin to describe this pain pill. It was a run on cliche of every 80's slasher fest, only they did it BETTER back in the 80's!

It was just another bad teen horror. A sequel is unnessesary to say the least

I think most people who have seen Valentine have already forgotten most of it, or at least don't remember it as a special movie. Just a little snack that sucked big time. So I don't think a sequel would be a very logical move; another original slasher would be a better idea commercially.

If they make a sequel, they need to add more gore and at least one gratuitous nude scene...
come on Hollywood, stop signing actresses with no-nudtiy clauses to slasher films

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed the first film, so sure, I'm all for it. AS LONG AS THE GODDAMN THING ISN'T RATED PG-13!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damnit. Didn't we already get over the teen slasher influx?

that's my reaction if they make this stupid movie.

I saw Valentine and it sucked. I don't think any Valentine-themed horror movie will ever live up to My Bloody Valentine, which a sequel is being planned by the producer of the original.

I thought the Valentine was alright...wasn't as bad as people were saying, I just wish they would release it uncut.

Remember they cut a shit load of blood and gore out at the last minute.

Yea i didnt think that Valintine was that bad. But considering how young I was I didn't know any better. But this deffinatly doesn't need a sequel and I don't want one.

It was on tbs or tnt, one or the other, the other night.

I fell alseep right after Katherine Heigel was the first one killed.
For some reason I love that tank top she wears. (sigh....)

I only liked the drill-pool scene in the original. The rest was bad.

02-14-2005, 07:33 PM
I liked that scene to but only because, so far, that's the only movie where Denise Richards dies.

Ain't it the truth.

Why? I don't know. Is it worth writing about? No. Do I care? No. Is it probably true? No.
