I have a question about a movie that i saw about 10 years ago on a pay channel, i do not remember the name of the movie but perhaps u have seen it. I will describe what i remember of it, and if it rings any bells to you please respond, as i have been trying to learn the name of this movie for years (literally) to no avail.
The movie, as i remember, started off with a group of college aged friends heading up to some hill in a deserted wooded area. On top of this hill were hedgestones (those old rock structures that look like big stone doorways). The group parties and what not, and i remember when they tried to leave, none of their cars would start. So they tried walking back to civilization, but after they walked a certain distance they would come upon a thick fog. When they walked through the fog, they would end up right back on top of the hill where they started. Now they realized they couldnt leave, and discoverd that when they walked through the hedgestones, they would find themselves on the inside of a small house. So the hedgestone was a doorway to an invisible house on the other side. Anyway, when night fell, zombies started coming out of the woods after them, and the kids had to seek refuge inside of this invisble house.
Thats all i remember, i dont remember the name of the film, or any actors or anything like that. I just know that it was on a paychannel, hbo or payperview or something like that. this movie im guessing was made in the early to mid 80's, buts thats just a guess and i really have no idea. Ive read every movie review on this page as well as many others and gotten no matches, and emailed many people without sucess. So please, if this zombie movie with the hedgestones with invisible houses on A hill rings any bells to you, please let me know. This movie does exist, i did see it, although im not sure anyone else did. thanks.

Is it Spookies?

unfortuneately no, its not spookies. Sounds similar, but in the movie im thinking of there were a group of kids partying in some middle-of-nowhere place, and the house they entered, was invisible from outside and could only be entered by walking through the hedgestones. Spookies is similar, but the movie im thinking of is a little different. thanks.

I have no idea what movie you're referring to, but Spookies was one God-awful piece of crap.

You're not thinking about Curse of the Blue Lights are you? I seem to remember a hill, cemetary-type thing, and zombies.

Dude you are talking about Demon Wind one of the funniest "its so bad its good" films Ive ever seen! I love this flick just because its so fucking stupid!

Its hilarious, specially that magician who can do karate! And Satan himself shows up at one point! And the heroe of the movie turns into something that looks like an alien from that movie Alien Nation!

Its fun, dumb and a must see for anyone who loves cheesy zombie/demon movies. I did a review of it a few months back, but apparently it was so long ago that its been deleted.

Well ill be goddamned space monkey, you got it. I have emailed sooo many so-called horror movie/zombie movie experts who for the life of them couldnt tell me the name of this movie. And yea, i kinda figured it sucked ass, or else i would have found it a lot easier, but you know how it is when you see a movie when your young, and it kicks ass to you at the time. It would have itched at me till no end until I found this movie, although I did suspect it was a piece of crap, the satisfaction i will get from watching the movie, just in knowing that i finally found it, will be greater than that of which any movie could ever bring me. THANK YOU SPACE MONKEY. THANK YOU!!:D

Hey dude, I know how that feels!

Same thing happened to me a while back with this movie called Fear No Evil. I saw it as a kid and it scared the beejezus of of me. But then I forgot all about it and all I had in my mind were these images of a Play that some kids put on and it involved a crucifixion scene and then the hammers and nails start to fly on their own and hammer the kid playing jesus...cool shit!

So I asked the schmoes here and they helped me out as well! I had the same feeling you have right now!

And for the record, this movie is not total shit! Its enjoyable precisely because its so bad...yet it has some cool moments in it as well. I dont know how to describe it, its bad yet good. Corny and cheesy yet highly enjoyable. Fun stuff.

Glad to be of assistance.
