Demented (1980) - Any opinions?

Hey guys, I was thinking about renting the incredibly obscure, early '80s horror flick, Demented, but after seeing the trailer through an IMDB link, I'm a tad apprehensive. Can anyone else post their opinions?

For those of you trying to determine which flick this is, or for those who are just curious about the plot, it appears to be a rape and revenge exploitation film in the vein of I Spit On Your Grave, only this chick really flips her lid.

Had it's no budget cheesy moments as I recall but then again, it's been ages since I saw it.

I just got this on dvdr and i think it will be one of those films i keep putting off. doesnt look that great.

Well, I've seen it. No, it wasn't that great, but it wasn't the worst movie ever either. Yes, it was bad. Really bad. But it still had a likable charm that made me want to find out what happens. One thing that really bugged the hell out of me was the fact that the lead actress couldn't act her way out of a tampon, yet she strived so hard for believability. The way she squeals and wails and whines her way throughout the entire thing is enough to drive anyone batty.

This movie is so bad that it's surreal. I had no idea what I was watching.

I rented this, at of all places, Blockbuster.
