1.Enter the Dragon-the greatest kung fu flick ever made. I dare you to argue with me.
2.Crouching tiger, hidden Dragon-took kung fu flicks to their roots...and then some.
3.Super ninjas-wild fight sequences
4.Five deadly venoms-nasty
5.once upon a time in China
6.Iron Monkey
7.The Matrix-revitalized kung fu style fighting to appeal to American audiences.
8.Bloodsport-showcased so many different styles.
9.Jackie Chan's First strike-The ladder sequence...nuff' said.
10.Way of the Dragon-Bruce Lee Vs. Chuck Norris there hasn't been a match up between two great martial artists since.
*cracks knuckles*
"Who am I?" -rooftop scene, unforgettable
"Fist of Fury" -Bruce's best, imo
"Drunken Master" -the original, although the sequel was tight, too
"Once Upon a Time in China" -group them all together, great story
"Karate Kid" -say what you will...but I think we all enjoyed this movie immensely back in the day
"Dragon's Forever" -ahh my Lucky Stars
"Out for Justice" -not a big Seagal fan, but GODDAMN, this movie showcased the brutality of aikido to an otherwise unenlightened audience
"Bloodsport" -was already said, but a good viewing of different styles
"Kickboxer" -Karate Kid for adults
and any other JC or Jet Li film, as long as it's Chinese-made.
For the record, I don't consider "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" kung-fu...it incorporates some great kung-fu, and some spectacular fight scenes, but the story is just too damn epic for me to narrow it down like that.
