Clarice, the young actress (Mary Badham) who portrayed Scout in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar, but lost out to Patty Duke (another slightly older youngster) for THE MIRACLE WORKER.

Also, I think Tatum O'Neal and Anna Paquin were the two youngest women ever to win an Oscar (both were around 10).
