Paris Wins 'Sexy' Title

TV reality show star and saucy nightclub denizen Paris Hilton is named Playboy's "Sex Star of the Year" in the magazine's March issue.

Balanced on a barstool in fishnet stockings, a red corset and red stiletto heels, with one leg thrust into the air, the blonde model and millionaire heiress of the Hilton hotels fortune is the cover girl for the "25 Sexiest Celebrities" issue of the US pin-up magazine.
"Paris has the kind of appeal our readers find hard to resist," said Hugh Hefner, Playboy founder and archetype for the macho lifestyle promoted by the magazine.

"They also appreciate her ability to use her sexuality to overcome controversy and turn it to her benefit."

Anyone looking for pictures of Hilton nude will be disappointed, but the magazine does offer inside photographs of her in her signature skimpy and transparent outfits.

The magazine chose its 25 sexy personalities after polling readers on its website and then whittling down a final selection.

Also on the list were actresses Halle Berry, Cameron Diaz and Charlize Theron, former tennis star Anna Kournikova, porn star Jenna Jameson, blonde bombshell Pamela Anderson, and singers Jessica Simpson, Beyonce Knowles and Britney Spears.

As an American I don't understand if this is a domestic thing or something we inherited from our European ancestors, but I think we value the 'thin body' physique so much that we don't even care what the face looks like.

Her face in makeup almost reminds me of looking at Ronald Fucking McDonald. Seriously. It's like one of those 3-D puzzles that you pick up on after you stare at for awhile.

I mean, you can only talk a woman into getting her from behind so many times before you just have to lay on top of her and stare at her face guys.

Now this might be and my old school romantics, but...I personally think a woman has to be able to utter three sensible sentences back to back to qualify as sexy. If she doesn't, she's an inflatable doll, or Britney Spears (the most popular brand of inflatable doll).

I loved the sex tape. It was nice and cheesy. But please. Paris has a decent body, even though she's extremely skinny, and a "meh" face. But sexy, to me, includes brains. And her fucking puppy has more brains than her -- and it looks like a pretty stupid dog to me.

I've been reading that it's not really her body on the cover, and after looking at it closely, I don't think it is. It looks like her head was superimposed on a classic pin-up's body, ala Vargas.

And just for the record, IMO, being easy does not equate being sexy. There is a strong psychological aspect to what most people call sexy, and Paris isn't making the grade.

Then again, I've known many guys who say the promise of sex is about as sexy as it gets.

I certainly disagree. Is Anna do-able? Of course. But sexiest alive? That's way too hefty of a title for her. Again, I'll say that brains and personality go a long way, and Anna seems a little short on both.

Also, Playboy is giving this title to "sex stars," so unless Anna has put out a video that hasn't surfaced as of yet, she doesn't qualify.

These lists are always laughable, as what's "sexy" in the world of magazines is fairly subjective these days. Although I wasn't expecting much from Playboy's list, they've really disappointed me this time around.

I have yet to see the whole "Top 25", but the thought of Paris Hilton (in my mind, at least) always conjures up images of gap teeth and the kind of cheap hookers you always see on HBO's "TaxiCab Confessions". Is that really sexy? Not in my book. Sexiest woman of the year? Hell no.
