Show off. And by the way, no offense to anyone, but I really think people should use a system them is out of 10. I mean there is a HUGE difference between an 8/10 and a 6/10. But what you give someone a 3 out of 5 or a 4 out of 5, there is A LOT in the middle of those two. I mean to me Showtime is a 3/5 and Field of Dreams is a 4/5, I think people would definately agree there is a huge difference between the two....Where do you rent all these old movies. Does Blockbuster have them?

1. I don't transfer the 1-5 system into the 0-10 system, so for me a 3/5 doesn't equal to a 6/10 and a 2/5 doesn't equal to a 4/10 either. The ratings reflect what I think of them and not what they would look like in the "out of ten" rating system, so a 5/5 would indicate that the film is MASTERFUL (imo, of course), a 4/5 film is EXCELLENT, a 3/5 film ranges from GOOD - VERY GOOD, a 2/5 film ranges from BAD -MEDIOCRE, a 1/5 film is AWFUL, and a 0/5 film is GARBAGE. I know many folks may not agree but I feel more comfortable with this system, especially after I've gotten rid of the .5's.

2. Some of the classics I saw when I was younger, on television and rentals, as well as a few films I bought in China. Some I saw when I was just joining the club and wanted to see more classics than what I saw already. Some I taped off of TCM. I get my movies from, mostly Blockbuster, Hollywood, Netflix, my local library, and certain DVD/VCD stores in China.
