You just know everyone is going to be so way off, although that's kind of the point.
There's no way I can make a top ten list. All I know of what's coming out is what is pushed for summer; material that will not likely find its way onto my top ten list. But I'll play--and make a top ten list of films I think I'll like the most, out of the obvious releases this year.
01. The New World
02. Melinda and Melinda
03. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe
04. The Brothers Grimm

I gave Sin City an 8/10, which means if it's on my top 10 it will more than likely be lower than that, like 9 or 10. I'm still greatly anticipating Kingdom of Heaven despite what some people think of it, and I'm crossing my fingers that Rent will be even close to as good as the show is.

Miyazaki's Hauru no ugoru shiro and Wong's 2046 would definitely make this year's list, but because unlike most of you I already saw them last year, they belong there. Also, wanted to show my support for them by mentioning this.
Usually I have no possible way of forming a decent top 10, but this year looks very promising. Or in the worst case, a year looks promising but I have no possible way of seeing most films on the list shortly after they've released.
This is also my most anticipated list, in no particular order (which is enough for me).
Sílení (Svankmajer)
Broken Flowers (Jarmusch)
The New World (Malick)
The Piano Tuner of Earthquakes (Timothy & Stephen Quay)
Last Days (Van Sant)
Don't Come Knockin' (Wenders)
Manderlay (Von Trier)
Where the Truth Lies (Egoyan)
A History of Violence (Cronenberg)
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Jennings)
And indeed, this year's Festival de Cannes looks amazing. Also, there is the new Ki-Duk Kim film, which should be amazing.

Sin City-9/10
Batman Begins-9/10
Revenge of the Sith- 9/10
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory-9/10

Howls Moving Castle-8/10

Haven't seen it, but having loved Miyazaki's work and Japanese animes in general, I don't see why I shouldn't love it or at least, like it a lot. I'm definitely having high hopes for this one.
Out of my predicted list, I have only seen Sin City & Batman Begins, both of which, as you can see, have gained extreme confidence in me that they will still maintain their positions in the top 5 even at the end of the year. I sure hope so.

Me and You and Everyone We Know (July)

Well, saw Broken Flowers today and it doesn't even make my top 10 of the year right now, so it certainly won't have a chance to enter it at the end of the year.
Current results for my predicted list:
1. King Kong
2. Sin City - 9/10 (favorite movie of the year thus far)
3. Saraband
4. Manderlay
5. Batman Begins - 9/10 (third favorite movie of the year thus far)
6. Broken Flowers - 7/10
7. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe
8. Mysterious Skin - 9/10 (second favorite movie of the year thus far)
9. Howl's Moving Castle
10. High Tension

6) Chromophobia
7) A History Of Violence
8) V For Vendetta
9) All The Kings Men
10) The Libertine (if it ever gets released)

I thought it would be interesting to revisit this thread now that we all pretty much have our lists finalized. Mine was pretty off.
Predicted Top 10 of 2005:
1. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe
Narnia was maybe not quite as good as I hoped, but it made my top 5 (10/10)
2. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Biggest disappointment in a LONG time (7/10)
3. Batman Begins
I was right on with this one (10/10)
4. Kingdom of Heaven
Just two places off (10/10)
5. Rent
Just one place off (10/10)
6. Sin City
This one looked interesting, but didn't even make my top 20 (8/10)
7. War of the Worlds
This was in my top 10 until some holiday releases pushed it out (9/10)
8. Fantastic Four
What was I thinking here? (7/10)
9. A Scanner Darkly
Bumped to 2006, and I'm not so sure anymore...
10. The Interpreter
Just dropped to #11 a few weeks ago (9/10)
My Actual Final Top 10 of 2005
1. Crash (10/10 or A+)
2. Brokeback Mountain (10/10 or A+)
3. Batman Begins (10/10 or A+)
4. Rent (10/10 or A+)
5. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (10/10 or A+)
6. Kingdom of Heaven (10/10 or A+)
7. The Island (9/10 or A)
8. Heights (9/10 or A)
9. Munich (9/10 or A)
10. Walk the Line (9/10 or A)
4 FOR 10
There were a lot of things that came out of nowhere to be among my favorites, especially Crash, Brokeback Mountain, and Heights.
And in case you're wondering, it is very unusual for me to have this many solid 10/10's in one year.

Mine has been (thus far) accurate in some parts, off in others...
Predicted Top 10:
1. King Kong
-Well, for now it's my # 1 film of the year, let's hope it stays that way.
2. Sin City
-My # 3 of the year, so I'm pretty much right on the ball with this one as well.
3. Saraband
-Haven't seen. :(
4. Manderlay
-Bumped to 2006, so unfortunately it can't count.
5. Batman Begins
-# 4 of the year for now, but I still have a lot of movies I haven't seen yet.
6. Broken Flowers
-In my top 20, but not my top 10.
7. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe
-STILL haven't seen, but somehow I have a feeling that this won't make my top 10.
8. Mysterious Skin
-Liked it even more than I expected. # 5 of the year.
9. Howl's Moving Castle
-# 10 of the year, still pretty accurate.
10. High Tension
-Not sure why I included this one. 8/10, but looking back, it's not really a movie that I would put on any 'top 10' list.
From the ones in my predicted top 10, I think Sin City, King Kong, Mysterious Skin, Batman Begins, and Saraband are going to be the ones to make my actual top 10 by the time I see all the films I've been meaning to see. The others don't have a chance, and these are the reasons why:
Capote
Good Night, and Good Luck
Match Point
Brokeback Mountain
Haven't seen any of them, but if they really are as good as the critics say they are, then I have no doubt they will all end up in my top 10.

UPDATE:
Predicted top 10:
1. King Kong
-Accurate enough. It is my #2 of 2005. (9/10)
2. Sin City
-Still a great movie (9/10), but hasn't grown on me too well. Five spaces off.
3. Saraband
-Not even close. Bergman's most current film only held a #20 position.
4. Manderlay
-Bumped to 2006, so unfortunately it can't count. As of right now, it is my #2 of 2006 though.
5. Batman Begins
-100% accurate. It actually is my #5 of 2005.

-In my top 20, but not close to making my top 10.

8. Mysterious Skin
-Liked it even more than I expected. #6 of the year on actual list.
9. Howl's Moving Castle
-Five spaces below. Barely missed my top 10.
10. High Tension
-Not sure why I included this one. 8/10 (but not even in my top 20), but looking back, it's not really a movie that I would put on any 'top 10' list.
Actual top 10:
1. Brokeback Mountain (I can't believe I didn't predict this one to be in my top 10)
2. King Kong

5. Batman Begins
6. Mysterious Skin
