You know, those cool shots they use when dissolving from one scene to another? Let's hear some of your favs!
For example:
ALIENS
Ripley's ship has just been discovered, with her asleep inside. It starts with a close-up of her face, then dissolve to a shot of the earth, that fits perfectly around the shape of her head.
HIGHLANDER
1. Macleod has killed the immortal in the parking lot at Madison Sqaure Garden, and as he's rushing out, the camera goes up into the ceiling, and when it passes through, we arrive looking over a hill in Scotland 1536.
2. Macleod has been banished from village in 1536. We get a close-up of his sad face, which dissolves into a mural of Mona Lisa on a building in New York City.
