There's a dumbass rumor going around school than jon heder OD'd or someshit. A couple of kids said they saw it on the news, now, I'm assuming this is all bullshit , but, you never know? So, anybody got any info to confirm or denie?

Died of an OD? I wasn't responsible for that one. If it was being bludgeoned to death with a hammer, then I would be. As for the story, I haven't heard of that happening

How does shit like this get going anyway? What the fuck? But at least its bullshit, normally, I would give two shits about this but, I got stuck on the damned school newspaper, and felt like bitching about Napoleon Dynamite, and I figured I couldnt really make fun of the movie if he was dead, you know?

This is a true story...last year, myself and several other posters on a different NBA message board decided to spread a rumor that Richard Jefferson had been traded to the Bucks for Michael Redd. We posted it on as many NBA and sports boards as we could, even had a fake news article from a New Jersey Paper. People bought it, and the NEXT DAY Nets GM Rod Thorn called a press conference and said "contrary to internet reports, we have not traded Richard Jefferson and have no intention to."

HAHAHAHA! That was ME and some friends! YAY!

Anyway...I just say that to prove it isn't too hard to start a rumor.

...besides which, the night i first read these rumors (several weeks back), Jon Heder was on Jay Leno. I saw it myself. So nope, not dead.

I thought of this thread when I was in a sports store last night and a little girl about 7 years old was talking about how Napoleon Dynamite was dead. She said he was ran over by a truck.
