Well, there was an HBO Films thread, so I thought I might as well post one for the films that premiered directly on HBO's sister station, Cinemax.
The best, IMHO, is clear: FINDING GRACELAND, a beautiful drama with Harvey Keitel as a drifter who seriously considers himself to be none other than Elvis Presley in the flesh. It's a fine road film, with touching performances and a quirky enough story.
The worst, however, is probably BREAK UP, a wannabe thriller with Bridget Fonda as a deaf woman accused of killing her deadbeat husband, who may or may not be dead at all.
