Harrison Ford would be my pick.Connery is good but he's been in some pretty lame films. And Harrison is a very talented actor.James Bond ain't any Han Solo.

Sean Connery is just SOOO preemininately cool. Notice how in every movie, no matter where his character is from, they have a Scottish brogue. Including the Russian sub commander in The Hunt for Red October and a Chicago man in The Untouchables.
However, Harrison Ford has a range that he doesn't use much. He can act in many different kinds of film, unfortuately he's addicted to playing heroes in dramas (like in his upcoming flick, K-19: The Widowmaker, in which, like Sean Connery did, he plays a Russian sub commander). So my vote is for the untapped talent of Harrison Ford.
too close to call for me
ill make it simple:
Pros for Ford:
Indiana Jones movies
Star Wars movies
The Fugitive
Witness
Cons for Ford:
Doesnt have a huge range of acting IMO
starred in some crappy movies recently, i.e. 6 days, 7 nights, random hearts
Pros for Connery:
The Untouchables -- nuff' said there
Best James Bond films
Cool accent that I can impersonate well
Cool guy
Cons for Connery;
Needs to be in more films i think... and when they are he needs to be in a starring role i.e. entrapment... less supporting roles i.e. indy and the last crusade, untouchables, the avengers.

Connery wins this easy...Ford doesn't have as much range.

Sorry, Ford fans, Connery has more style and spirit. When have you ever seen him deliver a bad performance?

Harrison Ford gets my vote. The guys freakin Indiana Jones and Han Solo!No one can compare with that.I can't picture any other actor as Indiana Jones or Han Solo.Anybody can play Bond, but there is only one Indiana Jones and Han Solo.
Yes, Ford may not have the range in his work as other actor's, but that doesnt mean he doesnt do good work. His work is far more better than Sean Connery's.

Sean Connery for the pure range of his work. He's done dramas, comedies, romances, period pieces.
I like a good many of Ford's films but I also think he's sunk into a habit of taking one kind of role role and refusing to challenge himself.

It's a near-tie for me. I love 'em both (after all, it is James Bond against Indiana Jones), but as Ford is my favorite actor, he wins it...nearly.

Both guys are great, both have been in memorable movies, but I just find Sean to be a lot cooler, and to be a better actor.

A close call to make, but I will go with Harrison Ford. His Indiana Jones performance alone is enough for me to choose him, let alone Han Solo.
Plus, Sean was in that horrible The Avengers!!! http://www.joblo.com/ubb/mad.gif
Neither actor has done that wide a varitey of roles. Sean Connery mostly plays the grizzled, hardened weary "warrior" (whether it's as a cop, writer, spy, scientist, etc.) while Harrison Ford has mostly delved into action roles. That said, Ford is actually my favorite actor if only for playing Indiana Jones, but he does have range, as proven in The Mosquito Coast and Regarding Henry.

This is quite tough, but I'm going to Mr Ford, for his role as Indy.

This is an easy one: Sean Connery. I find Harrison Ford to be quite overrated, and quite dull. Connery, on the other hand, is cool and suave.

It's a very hard one to call. Ford is so cool as Indiana Jones and Han Solo, but Connery is sexy, suave...and that voice!
It's gonna have to be a tie! But Connery wins hands down in the "ladies department" if you catch my drift ;)
Despite 'The Avengers'.. It is still Sir Sean Connery.

I defenetly agree with that. Especially when Ford does interviews for late night shows.
