Michelle Pfeiffer : LOVE FIELD (Even though she earned an Oscar Nomination, and rightfully so, I feel the film still was underrated)
Julia Stiles : O
Kirsten Dunst : DICK or DROP DEAD GOREGEOUS (Both hilarious comedies)
Dean Cain : BEST MEN / BROKEN HEARTS CLUB (Best Men wasn't a big film but had a talented cast - Drew Barrymore, Sean Patrick Flanery, Luke Wilson, and went unnoticed, which is a shame cause it's an interesting, often humorous drama and Broken Hearts Club was a good gay film that didn't alientate its audience and had solid performances all around, a shame these two films weren't better publicised)
Jennifer Lopez : BLOOD & WINE / ANGEL EYES

George Clooney(The Perfect Storm)
Bill Murray(Quick Change)
Robert Deniro(Awakenings)
Gene Hackman(The Birdcage)
Kevin Spacey(Swimming with Sharks)

Underrated? He was nominated for this one and the movie was quite popular. I think his performance was rated just right, although I would've preferred he won the Oscar instead of Jeremy Irons for REVERSAL OF FORTUNE. Irons wasn't bad, but I found his performance mostly one-note: IRONY. Excuse the pun.

I dunno mosespa, I wouldn't exactly call AMERICAN HISTORY X and THE USUAL SUSPECTS underrated at all. They're pretty popular flicks and all and extremely well-rated by people.

Just to clear things up before I get backchat and all...
I aint saying Se7en is exactly underrated...I just feel that Spacey isn't given enough credit for this particular performance...
John Doe is one of his best to date...
