...Nice results. There was a good spread between different movies, and there was no LOTR to grab too many wins this year. My favourite of last year, Old Boy, is released in USA this year, so it wasn't possible to vote for that.

But I think all movies and people were deserving of their wins. My only problem with this year's nominations was that there was a lack of really cool lines in the Best Line category.

very few of my picks won, as ever, but i'm pleased with the results, a nice spread of films even if, occasionally, my reaction was 'that one, really?'

Happy as well, especially since I liked all of the movies that won.

Now, why can't this Sunday's Oscars be like that??

Nice wins!!! I really wanted to see Clive Owen grabbing that Golden Schmoe, but David Carradine is also a very good choice!!

By the way, is there some way JoBlo could display the number of votes (or percentage) that each nominated movie got in the categories?

14 of my picks won, so I'm not too upset about that. I was a little sad to see HELLBOY snubbed after recieving 5 nominations. Oh well, overall it's not bad.

Nope. I hated it too. Well, I did vote for Elisha Cuthbert in the Best T&A category. But other than that, the movie sucked.

These awards rock!! No clear cut overall winner. I like the Best Picture winner as well - I didn't vote for it - but hey, it's still a kickass movie. And I think that makes it a clean sweep for Jamie Foxx in the Best Actor category - especially after this Sunday.

Congrats to all the winners and here's hoping they realize that they got these awards.

All n' All pretty happy w/ the results. I still can't beleive Shaun of the Dead Won, let alone be nominated.

Just because the director and actors give joblo an exclusive, doesn't make it a good movie.

True Deuce, but Shawn of the Dead won because it IS a good movie :D

As always, there's some winners I agree with, some I disagree with, and some that make me say "what? why?" Nevertheless, it's cool that this year's Golden Schmoes had such a mixed bag of winners.

Looks like only 2 things I voted for won.

I'm a bit sad the Chuck Norris line lost.

Not bad. Not bad at all.

I'm just glad Eternal Sunshine defeated Kill Bill for best picture.

I only have one minor quibble. How could Spider-Man 2 defeat Sky Captain in best special effects category?!

That and Saw's ending winning most memorable scene.

Nice choices. Except for Uma winning best actress. I can't help but feel  about that one.

Overall, a great list of winners, and just shows how diverse we are. Another great Golden Schmoes!

Yes, a good batch indeed.

Still, I'm surprised people were fooled into thinking Jamie Foxx had a supporting role in COLLATERAL, when he was obviously the lead. Oh, well. Whatever.

Whoever said the special effects in SKY CAPTAIN were better was right on. One of the things SM2 hasn't improved on, IMO, is the cartoonish CGI.

Finally, the best film of the year won best picture at the Schmoes. I was sick of all the LOTR hogging.
