Region 2 DVD Help!!

HI! I purchasing several DVDS from region 2 that have Widesceen aviable and the only Full Screen in the Region 1. so far I purchased;
1492: Conquest of Paradise (1992)
Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994)
The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland (1999)
Backdraft (1991) aviable in WS in region 1 just horrible quality.
The Bodyguard (1992) - i know this is now aviable region 1
Fierce Creatures (1997)
Flash Gordon (1980)
Forever Young (1992)
The Karate Kid (1984)
The Karate Kid Part II (1986)
The Karate Kid Part III (1989)
Kickboxer (1989)
Muppet Treasure Island (1996)
Outland (1981) -again R2 better quality
Showdown In Little Tokyo (1991)
The Sting (1973)
Timecop (1994)
