I'm just wondering which movies have the absolute most blood and gore.

Last 30 minutes or so of Evil Dead

The last hour of Dead Alive (aka Brain Dead)

Beginning of Saving Prive Ryan

Most of Passion of the Christ

A lotta Troma flicks I believe...

And I know there's a TON of others....

Bad Taste is fucked up. The Cannibal films (Cannibal Ferox/Holocaust) have some nice gore and feel the need to show some true animal snuff for accelerated shock value.

I also hear heavy praise for the gore in the Guinea Pig films.

Bad Taste- "I'm Born Again!" That one scene will have anyone with their eyes popping about 2 inches out of their head.

Dead Alive- The lawnmower scene. In no scene ever will you see this much blood, guts, and limbs flying.

Ichi The Killer- The hook interrogation scene. Hanging on hooks, skin ripping, pouring of hot water...it's just not fun.

Cannibal Holocaust- Dick saw off. I cannot watch this scene without having a firm grip on my nuts, and my shaft making sure they are still in tact.

Cannibal Ferox- Hanging nipples scene. Man, it's a chick being hung by her boobs and it makes me wanna give my boobies a nice squeeze and tell them it's gonna be okay!

ZOMBIE- The wood splint, and the eye...oh my dear god. Probably the hardest to watch of any of these. Wow, the wood splint slowly jamming into her eye and then the piece of wood snapping off entirely in her eye leaivng her screaming with this huge piece of wood in her eye. My god... ::shiver::

The Excorcist- Masturbation, crucifix style! I'm sorry but bleeding vaginas are bad when girls are having their period...but when they're bleeding via massive stabbing with a crucifix, it's a whole lot worse and more disgusting.

Haute Tension- That slit throat, the glass foot and the buzz saw.

1) Man oh man oh chevitz. The slit throat, seeming like nothing will come out, then boom the hair is pulled back and blood flys like a machine spraying out candy for kids. Combine this with a scene after which is one of the biggest "jump" scenes I've ever seen and god damn.

2) The glass foot...I won't spoil it but seeing it pulled out will make you scream or close your eyes harder than you have ever closed them in your entire life.

3) The buzz saw is one of the most hectic, bloody, gory, scream inducing scenes I have ever seen in my life. Just...just...see it...

The Thing- The "CLEAR!" scene and any transformation. Man, made in the early 80's and these handmade special effects definitly stand the test of time. Enough to make you flinch and have your jaw on the floor because you cannot believe what you are seeing. You gotta see some of the shit that happenes in this movie, truly fuckign twisted.

Thats all for now :).

I find that the first three Hellraiser movies are probably the goriest movies I've ever seen. There were some scenes I found to be rather nasty.

The Thing - where the one guy uses the debrillator and on the second time, the chest opens up with a pair jaws rips the arms off. That scene always gets to me. Alot of the gore scenes in The Thing are some of the goriest I've ever seen.

Evil Dead 2 - Ash in the toolshed, chopping his girlfriend

Zombie - Girls eye + wood splinter = one of the most cringe-inducing scenes I've ever seen in my life. Not very gory, but down right fucking disturbing
here's a pic:

Dawn of the Dead & Day of the Dead - any of the bits where the guys are literally ripped apart. In Dawn of the Dead where the guy kicks down a door in the apartment building, and blows a zombie's head completely away.

Thirteen Ghosts - Terrible terrible movie, but one of heckuva gore scene where that guy it's in half by the glass sliding doors.

Pet Sematary - When that kid slashes the man's achilles. It's not that gory but damn, you just can't watch it.

You're right. I can't watch that movie. The first two-thirds are painfully boring while the last third is unintentionally hilarious.

Day of the Dead is tops for me. Dead Alive is so over the top that I can't take it seriously.

Well I don't watch Cannibal Holocaust and the like, so some may find this list tame. I know there are gorier flicks out there but this is just out of the one's I've seen:

Kill Bill Vol.1 - Lots of blood and gore. Check out the Japanese version of it to satisfy your bloodlust even more.
Alien- Actually this isn't very gory at all, but the chestburster scene is full of it.
Saving Private Ryan - Opening scene
Black Hawk Down - Goriest part is when that dude gets blown in half.
JFK- Not too graphic, but real footage of a man shot in the head should give this one some points.
Total Recall - Moments of note include the arms getting ripped off and the many bloody/gory shootings.
Robocop: Director's Cut - Even gorier than the original.
From Dusk Till Dawn - When the Titty Twister gets nasty...
Gangs of New York - Opening scene
Dawn of the Dead (original and remake) - It's a zombie movie, duh
Blade I & II - Crap movies, but if you want gore you got it.
Hannibal - The disembowlment scene as well as the brain-eating scene. I saw this one at the age of 12 and I still cringe at it.
Battle Royale - LOTS of gore, as well as the fact that it's 14-15 year olds killing each other.
The Cell - When that dude gets his intestines pulled out as well as the death scene at the end. Nasty!
Evil Dead II - Full of gore from start to finish.
Nightmare on Elm Street - Again, not particularly gory, but Johnny Depp's death scene is awesome.
The Omen - I love that slow-motion beheading.
Existenz - I havn't seen this one for a long time, and when I did see it I thought it was crap, but I'm pretty sure this one is full of gore.
The Shining - Not very gory, but some scenes literally swim in blood.
Freddy vs. Jason - Crap movie, nice gore.
