Anyone else watching this show? I been Netflixing it, so I just finished season 1. It started off kind of slow but really grows on you.

I have a friend who just taped every episode from this year, so I should be able to catch up.

Yeah the 6 DVD Season 1 set has been out since, I think, the beginning of December.

I just finished catching up. I'm under the impression they're not near the final battle, they're just drawing close. I bet they don't even meet until the last episode of this year, thus making us wait an entire year to see what happens...

Carnivale season one is in my netflix queue
Season two is on my wait list.

I love this show.

Daniel Knauf said that the entire story is in three sections, with each section taking up two seasons (six seasons all-together); however, this will only happen of HBO decides to continue the run of Carnivale.

Knauf also said that Ben and Justin will fight more than once. Most likely they will meet and battle at the end of this season, but it's not going to carve the winner or loser in stone. There's still a lot to go. Remember, a war doesn't only have one battle...

I wouldn't count on that. Did you see where they showed scenes with the claim ONLY 3 EPISODES LEFT? If the two met this season, I bet they would have ended that clip with a flash of the scene.

They will meet at the end of this season, and again, it has been confirmed that the fight at the end would be shown in the form of clouds rolling across the sky, lightning, darkness, etc. It's not a fist fight. It's much deeper than that.

The teaser clips for last season didn't show Scudder healing Ben, or Ben cutting his neck either so I wouldn't go by what the teaser shows.

Cant wait till they put season 2 on dvd hopefully they will put more extras in it other than season 1
