What is your favorite movie trailer or preview?

For me its gotta be Three Kings.
And I like the preview for the Stanley Kubrick collection with all of his greats made into one preview.

Man I keep spelling trailer with an "o"

Scary Movie! The funniest trailer ever. Hollow Man would be second.

Eventhough The Haunting sucked, the teaser trailer for it was awesome! it made the movie look scary, which of course it wasn't.

I thought Blair Witch trailer rocked!! , I know a lot of people hated the film ( I loved it) but you guys gotta admit the trailer rocked!!!!!!! Another one (you guys are gonna rool your eyes) but scream 3, I remeber the 1st time i saw it, scream 1 was on fox, and scream was about 75% done and I was about to take a shower, I dropped my shorts and i turned around and saw it! I was in shock, I am sure star wars fans can feel the same way with Phantom Menace. When you have been waiting for a while to a sequel to your fav film you kinda get all giddy!!!!!!

I guess the most impressive trailer so far this year was the film I have been waiting for 15 years, ever since I read the book it's based on.

I'm talking about Lord of the rings, of course. I saw the teaser trailer on a stupid mpeg, and it still gave me shivers.

It's going to take 1,5 years, before the first chapter comes out and I'm already really excited. The trailer simply rocks.

...And I agree with screamer581. The trailers for Blair Witch Project ruled.

Hey, Mr. Meat. Where did you get the Clockwork Orange trailer? And if u can remember, was it in realplayer or not?

My favorite trailers are The Blair Witch Project, Scary Movie (as Homersimpson said "the funniest trailer ever), Pearl harbor, and without a doubt Three Kings. Does this site have the Kubrick collection trailer? I am a bigass kub-fan.

My favorite trailers are :

The Perfect Storm: That huge wave at the end.
Pearl Harbor: Seeing all of those Japanese planes, along with some good battle footage.
Independence Day: Okay, so the movie wasn't that great, but I'll always remember that first, great trailer I saw during the Super Bowl where the Whit House blows up and a guy stares in horror, in his car, at a wall of flame headed his way.

I thought that the trailer for Scary movie was hilarious. And I do agree with whoever said about the haunting, THe trailer really influenced me to see the movie, but i guess looks can be deceiving!(because the movie was terrible)

The Perfect Storm teaser was magnificent, as was the Final Fantasy one.

I love the Magnolia and Fight Club trailers.

My favorite television spot is the American Pie spoof on Eyes Wide Shut. I taped it and it still cracks me up!

I think my favorite trailer of the past few years would have to be the one for Magnolia. A flawless trailer, one that captures a lot of emotion and power, yet doesn't reveal too much about the movie (I just hate it when trailers give away too much).

I also liked the uncencored one-and-a-half minute teaser for Eyes Wide Shut with Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman making out in the mirror and that Chris Isaac music. Sets quite a mood for a teaser trailer; very risque.

The American Beauty trailer was also good...I can't think of too many more right now.

I never saw that Mankato, Is it "pies Wide Shut.''????? hahahah

Mankato

It was funny because in the tv spot for 'Eyes Wide Shut' they had the Cruise, Kidman, Kubrick thing and in the 'American Pie' it said Sex, Seduction, Envy or something like that with the same keyboard motion and everything. And it really looked like 'Eyes Wide Shut' then we saw a picture of Jason Biggs looking down at the pie and the title cards said "Keep your eyes.... On the pie" with the same music in the background. It was very creative and really funny.

You may disagree with me but l prefer the climax in mission pt. 1 than MI2.
The motorcycle fight scene in MI2 was excellent but l like the helicopter in the train tunnel scene from part 1 more.

I think that they also did a wonderful job on the Sixth Sense Trailer. That was a great film too.

Two trailers I've seen lately that were really cool were "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" and "Highlander:Endgame". Has anyone seen those? The cinematography looks incredible.
As far as favorites go, Phantom Menace has to top the list. Even though the movie didn't quite live up to my expectations, the trailer was just too exciting.

I just d/l'd 'The Usual Suspects' trailer, very good. Shows alot of good highlights from the film. Including one of the great quotes.

'Fight Club' is a great one as is the 'Magnolia' one. 'Independance Day' one is unforgettable, i mean how often do you see the white house blowing up!

Perfect Storm, Gladiator (makes you feel all determined inside before you see the film!), American Beauty ('what the hell do you think you're doing??') and Lake Placid

But the End Of Days one was like a drinking game: how many times can you actually say a film title in the trailer???

Scarface

I heard that Jason Lee was in the upcoming movie Almost Famous. And its by the dude behind Jerry Maguire (i love that movie), Cameron Crowe. So i decided to download it, and now i finally have a movie i'm looking forward to.
