That's a fast announcment considering they still have like 4 episodes to air here in the US. I'll definetly be getting this. My favorite new show this season (actually it's the only new show I like this year). I'm really curious to see what they do with commentaries. They could potentially have tons of them- each actor/actress doing one for their flashback episode with the writer and/or director of the episode. I'm probably dreaming though right? :D

This was one i knew i wasnt going to be able to watch every week, so i am glad its coming out so soon, i almost watch no shows anymore..i know i can just buy them on dvd..lol..plus being oversead alot it helps too

It doesn't help when the episodes aren't aired consistently every week and having to wait weeks before what happens next. For loads of us in the UK, you could watch the whole series in a weekend cos it's so good.

I never watched this show. But, judging from the previews they've shown every weak the show looks completely dumb and ridiculous. Really, how can anyone take all of that crap seriously without bursting out laughing at how pathetic it really is? The same thing goes for Desperate Housewives, another completely overrated, stupid show. ABC has no quality programming (aside from Monday Night Football), it's all dull, stupid and ridiculous. Wow, they've got a new show where a blind guy fights crime! That makes alot of freaking sense. It's probably the worst idea for a TV show I'ver seen before in my life. I hope to god that nobody watches this. In fact, I hope it just gets canned. Feel free to pick apart my comments. I'm really interested to see why Lost is so appealing.

That's the problem right there. You kinda need to watch the show to understand it and see its appeal. Otherwise I assume it would look kinda weird.

Actually, the producers of the show are intent on making this show into a series that's NOT sci-fi, so nothing is really that ridiculous on the show.

The appeal for me is the fact that the show has a compelling story that raises questions about the plot and takes its time in answering them, leaving the audience glued to the TV every week, Plus, I think the show has terrific acting, and a few episodes come to mind (Locke's flashback episode is remarkable. Terry O'Quinn seriously should be nominated for an Emmy for his acting in that episode alone. Also, a rather good soundtrack helps too (Ending an episode with Damien Rice's "Delicate"? Genius.).

The whole show's brilliant, really. Rent it on DVD if you are really curious, and then buy it once you've become addicted.

How can you go into a long rant on TV shows you've never seen? I haven't seen much of Lost or Desperate Housewives, but I've seen bits and pieces, and what I saw was entertaining enough.

over the course of the last 20 or so eps, this show has jumped over Alias, Carnivale, Sopranos, Veronica Mars, Family Guy, That 70s Show, and The Amazing Race to become my favorite show along with 24.

I will DEFINITELY be buying this the first day it comes out.
