Region 2 and/or Region 0 disks of films like Lethal Weapon 4 (heavily cut in the UK) without having to pay too much for delivery (oversees or whatever). I live in the UK BTW.

This site Rewind (http://www.dvdcompare.net/) provides the best dvd comparisons i know of, covering picture extras and cuts.

As for the Lethal Weapons. It says that film 1 has no cuts whichever version you buy. Film 2 is uncut anywhere but the UK (the US gets a DTS track so that's the best bet). Film 3 suffers no cuts anywhere and Film 4 is uncut everywhere but the UK and has an additional commentary on the US disc, making that your best bet, hope that helps.

Here's a question: Why does the BBFC consider headbutts to be offensive? It seems that for action films (including Lethal Weapon) they cut only the use of headbutts and other strange things that go by unscathed here in the land of Region 1. Why is that?

Because headbutts can be imitated and can (in theory) cause big damage to thie victim. It makes sense I guess, but it's still bloody annoying. They're a lot more leniant now though after they changed thier rules in 2001 (Fellowship of the Ring had a headbutt and got passed with PG).

They also used to have a grudge against chain sticks (?) or whatever they are but they've changed that now.

Pre-2001, unless it was a historical movie or something most action movies had at least 5 seconds cut out (Saving Private Ryan passed 15 uncut but Eraser had about 3 minutes removed!).

READ: Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, Enter The Dragon. Yep, just because the word 'ninja' was in the title, it inspired violence. Man, that's about as ridiculous as the kick to Ash's head in Evil Dead 2.
