New DVDs

I have just noticed that my computer will not play the newer releases. I just got Dutch today and my DVD drive doesn't even recognize the disc. I don't have a burner but I was wondering if anyone has found a solution or can point me in the right direction.

Have you tried any other discs? Try opening it with different programs (WMP, Interactual, etc.)

The drive does not recognise that there is a disc in it. Older DVDs play fine, new ones don't.

Must be some sort of compatability issue. Is your drive pretty old? I'd suggest getting a new one or just a regular player.
