Well, here comes another sequel that has my star vote,
Lions Gate has announced that they are going ahead with the sequel to Cabin Fever. Actor Robert Harris will reprise his role as Man Cadwell, the owner of the general store. Adam Green will write the script.
I gotta tell you Lions Gate just keeps pumping out one good horror movie after another and I think that a well written sequel to Cabin Fever could be another big hit for them. I know not everyone liked the original Cabin Fever, but hey I liked it, and I am sure I am not alone. It is not yet known what part Eli Roth will play in the sequel and whether or not he will direct. We do know that Robert Harris the crazy old hick that ran the convenience shop is signed on.
So what is the verdict people, is this gonna be good or...............

I`ll wait for more details to come out before I get too excited. I could swear I remember Roth saying the sequel would be set on a college campus, with Deputey Winston showing up to do some "serious partying" and infecting the whole campus.
The first movie was fun, but it`s one of those movies where after you`ve seen it once or twice, you won`t find yourself watching it much after that. The DVD collected dust on my shelf for so long that I eventually sold it.
I thought the first one was dull and boring. (Outbreak Lite). I'm just not looking forward to this.

I did like the original, but the script, in some parts, came off as being incredibly amateur. The dialogue in some scenes is completely ridiculous.
Having said that, the whole "don't drink the water" deal is an idea that's been used at least a half dozen times. It was an enjoyable film (for the most part), yes, but original? Nope.

This announcement is not unexpected, the never ending pain parade rolls on. Lions Gates keeps pumping something out all right...but I wouldnt call it GOOD horror. The words 'Well Written and sequel' are mutually exclusive of each other...
I had the displeasure of sitting through the original at the local multiplex...what an experience! Audience members were very vocal about their hate for this turd, people were walking out of the theater in droves! But, I hung in there trying to give the film a chance...alas' the film 'Cabin Fever' is just another in a long line of tired assed predictable big studio fare...sadly.

I just saw Cabin Fever yesterday (March 18). Yeah, it took forever to be released here in Brazil and it went straight to video. I was really looking forward to it because of all I had heard of it but jeez, what a crappy film. Really, nice gore, but I know somehow Eli - who is a very cool guy - wanted us to have fun with all the gore, but it felt stupid, unecessary. And somehow the movie played serious and like it was taking itself serious despite of what was going on. Only in the end the movie said to the audience: Okay, this is all a joke. I like the ending by the way.

I'm one of the people who love the first one, but this is a very unneeded sequel the first was self contained you knew how the story ended there is no need for a sequel. It's not surprising just not needed.

I just rewatched "Cabin Fever" the other night (I liked it better than I remembered), and I had forgotten what happened at the very end. With that in mind, they could make the sequel "Cabin Fever In Tha Hood"!
But that`s a terrible idea.

I see this as about as good an idea as Cabin Fever two. I heard about the movie and found out that it was a turd and had no good writing, and subpar acting. To make a second is like beating a horse that has been dead for twenty years and Then trying to violate it in the process.
