What it's about: In the dreaded SATs certain questions are inserted that test a girls ability to cheat, steal, lie, and kill. If a girl scores high enough, she is recruited by the government funded D.E.B.S. D.E.B.S. Amy, Max, Janet, and Dominique are now pitted against Lucy Diamond, the "deadliest criminal the world has ever known". Things spin out of control when Amy develops a crush on Lucy...

Who's in it: Sara Foster, Jordana Brewster, Devon Aoki, Jill Ritchie, Meagan Goode, Michael Clarke Duncan, Holland Taylor, Geoff Stults, Jimmi Simpson, Jessica Cauffiel, Ryan Xavier, Michael Mastro

Written and Directed by Angela Robinson

I think D.E.B.S. looks like the campiest thing that will come out in 2005. It looks like it takes itself as seriously as a spoof although it's not a full blown send up. Even if there aren't that many laughs, all we're going to see is a bunch of girls shoot guns and run around in school girl outfits. Add the uber hot and underrated Jordana Brewster in a lesbian subplot, I'M SO THERE!

SIN CITY note: Micheal Clarke Duncan and Devon Aoki will both be appearing together in Sin City next week. With all the hype surrounding that movie, I figured some might find this interesting...

Jordana Brewster is hot but this movie looks lame!

If this is supposed to be a parody of movies like CHARLIE'S ANGELS and other girl power flicks, then I don't get the joke. It seems to have the same amount of intelligence poured into it as the films it's apparantly spoofing.

Okay, there's lesbianism, but with the PG-13 rating I can't imagine it amounting to anything more than cockteasing.

The one on the far right scares me. And I think the second to the right is a man.

Has anyone seen D.E.B.S yet? What did you think?

I saw it this weekend and it was actually a lot better than I expected. But not as good as the short...

But the soundtrack was killer!

I found the soundtrack on iTunes: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?playlistId=48264189

And also here: http://www.lakeshore-records.com/debs/

Check it out! There's great music by The Cure, Goldfrapp, New Order, Jessy Moss and Robots in Disguise!
