Ashton's Upcoming Romatic Comedy

When I went to see Hitch the other week, i saw the previews for "a lot llike love" with kuthcer and peet . . . I cant wait-- i think it looks really good . . . has anyone else seen the trailer besides me?

Kutcher is ok, I like Amanda Peet a lot and the trailer is pretty good. I expect to have a good time at the movies with this flick.

I saw the trailer in front of GUESS WHO and I think it looks alright. Kutcher is alright despite not making very good movies (DUDE WHERE'S MY CAR and THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT are the only alright ones) and Amanda Peet is great, even in fluffy movies like SAVING SILVERMAN. I'm really anticipating this one, I'll definetely be seeing it opening weekend.

Movieman, I also will be seeing this opening weekend. Cant wait-- thinks this looks great! Also, one of my friends told me whipcream bikini girl will be in this one. Is this true? If so, I wonder what kind of stunt she will play on Ashton? :)

The more I think about it, the more A LOT LIKE LOVE seems like DOWN TO YOU. I liked that movie, so I'm sure I'll like this.

Moviefan, I havent seen Down to You but glad to hear that was a good one-- have to check it out.

Also, I just heard that ashton will be on Jay Leno wednesday night for A lot like Love-- hopefully they will be showing some exclusive clips to the movie :) has anyone else heard of any other interviews coming up for the movie?

Actually, the reviews have been pretty good so far. At rottentomatoes it is currently fresh at 80%

That is sure to go down (I think) as there is only a total of five reviews but it's looking promising so far.

You know it is bad when it is being promoted endlessly with TV spots, and MTV promotes it for a whole show.

thedudeman, I have to disagree with you about that-- there are plenty of good movies that promoted endlessly with TV Spots like Lord of the Ring movies, Oceans Eleven, Closer, etc

Speaking of the MTV show, did anyone catch TRL yesterday with Ashton and Amanda Peet? I thought it was great! Amanda and Ashton were extremely flirty... they really hit off- I swear that something is going on with them in real life. does anyone else agree?

I caught the PREVIEW/SNEAK PEEK.....
I had NO CLUE what this flick was about and usually a 3 minute trailer will help me decide if I want to see it or not. What I saw got me intrested so I was goin. Also the pass was FREE!!!! sooo nooooo loss if it sucks or not.. :D

Movie was not sooooo bad.... Its a "When Harry Met Sally" formula mixed w/ Kutcher and Peet as the leads... The second half definately made me laugh and I really got into these 2 characters.... Would I catch it again? Probably when it hits on DVD at my public library.

By the way have you heard the bet that Ashton has made with the producer? He said that he will model for Calvin Klein in his underwear if the movie hits number one this weekend-- now that would be a nice sight, wouldn't it?
