okay, so i'd heard of Buddy Guy...didn't know much about him...then i watched the Hall of Fame inductions....

then i died a little.


he was bar none, the fucking best person there both in playing and his attitude (aside from Jerry Lee, for sentimental reasons)...yet another reason for me to say fuck Bono in his pretentious ass.


then i searched the world over until i finally received a copy of 'Sweet Tea'....


then i died a little more.


he is SO powerful! his singing, his playing....i could laugh, cry and have an orgasm all at ONCE!!!

PLEASE tell me someone else here shares my love of him!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, Buddy Guy's pretty cool. And he definitely gave the best performance of the night (especially better than Bruce Springsteen's record-breaking speech about U2, I couldn't believe that). However, for that raw style of blues playing I prefer Clapton overall.
