Son of Kong - Legit or not?

Over at KongIsKing.net the new production diary from Peter Jackson announced that SON OF KONG is already happening. The video has interviews with all the main cast members about the sequel, contains early CGI work and maquettes. But since this was announced today (April 1st) I'm concerned that it may be an elaborate April Fools joke.
Any opinions?
