Fozzy is the band fronted by former wrestler (he may still be a wrestler for all I know) Chris Jericho. I had never heard anything from them, but I assumed that they were a joke...until I checked out "Enemy," the lead single off of their new album. It's a great melodic hard rock song, and Jericho is one hell of a vocalist. I'll be picking up All That Remains in due course.
Finally! Mainstream rock worth listening to! Who else digs Fozzy?

i also dig the Fozzy.
My fav song form them thus far is called End of Days... a kick ass tune, check it out if you get the chance.
Jericho was a bad ass wrestler and a pretty kick ass frontman

Jericho still wresltes, you can see him every Monday on WWE Raw. He's also been known to do live Fozzy preformances on the show, although the last was several months back.

fozzy definately rocks.... and jericho is the man... though he needs to grow his hair back out... the first couple of cds were mostly covers, and they were some good jams, but now their doing original material, and it rocks.... i love how they keep that 80s metal feeling alive

Fozzy's first album blew save for the two original tracks
Happenstance was very good. Even the covers honestly. The original songs were all great. To Kill A Stranger and Crucify Yourself moreso. Choco, you should really pick this one up. The originals sound like a slightly toned down Arch Enemy.
So when I heard that a new album was all originals I was extremely pumped. Then I heard it and was disappointed. "Enemy" and "Lazarus" are the only good songs their. The rest are either really shitty Nickleback sounding stuff, really shitty metalcore sounding stuff, or really shitty nu-metal sounding stuff.

Nu-metal??? Nickelback??? I've since bought All That Remains, and I love it. I'm not sure where you're getting the Nickelback comparisons. The riffs are thick, there are searing solos all over the place, and there aren't even any outright ballads. Every track rocks out at some point. I could do without the out-of-place rapping, though.

Okay, Nickelback was stretching it, but there is a very nu-metal like sound relevant. More like Soil, Drowning Pool, or Stereomud than Korn or Bizkit. As someone who heard Happenstance before this, I was very spoiled because IMO the four originals there kill this entire album. The rapping is their because the band besides Jericho consists of former members of the Rap-Metal band Stuck Mojo. Maybe I should give it another chance, since I went into this one with high expectations and was majorly disappointed. Anyways, since you enjoyed this, you should really buy Happenstance. There's a great Maiden cover on there as well as a decent W.A.S.P. cover to go with the four main originals.

I'll more than likely listen to Happenstance. I feel that Fozzy is head and shoulders above the three bands you mentioned. They're much more inventive (not to mention talented). I can't picture a band like Soil throwing in a guitar solo after the first chorus of a song. That seems trivial, but I dig on small things like that.

Fozzy is a fuckin joke... I'm not into any of it... I don't understand how entertainers in one field, think they can cross over into another and be just as sucessful... Jericho needs to quit the band thing, and focus on continuing to be a great wrestler... I sorta lost some respect for him, once I found out he was in a (joke) band that sucked ass (IMO)...
