This has got to be one of the trippiest movies that is coming out this year.
I'm excited about it, and I won't be going sober into the theatre if you get my meaning ;)

I've watched the tv spot about 80 times, just to see him say "You're really weird!" The squirrels were in the book, but not the first movie, as they couldn't recreate them. Tim has had these squirrels trained to sit on their little stools and crack nuts.

I think it looks fun and unique. But, if it's not for you, I'm sure there will be a new Adam Sandler flick to keep you happy.

I'm not a fan of this remake. I think they're going to destroy the movie.

Yes, because as everyone knows, if you don't like that hack Production Designer Tim Burton, then of course you must like Adam Sandler.
I do like Happy Gilmore though. :D
I think this is going to be one of those movies that are awesome when your high.

I've come to the conclution that people who don't like change will NEVER like a movie that is considered a "Re-make"... for all those who already hated the new Star Wars Trilogies before they came out and want to crucify Lucas becuz Gweedo shot first... I'm talking to you!
I say who gives a fuck! Why not go into a movie with no expectations, then you can judge it... don't compair it to the old. and for god sakes don't throw it in the the trash because your not found of the 30 second trailer of various snipets from the film...
YIKES!!!!!!!!

You haven't seen the movie. People are now reviewing and judging a movie's merit before they are released. Interesting.

I can understand that, but I never liked what Lucas did. I didn't care about the minor changes(I'm not gonna give a movie 3/10 because someone else shot first), but the big changes like adding Anakin in really pissed me off. If you brush a film up here and there that's fine but when you start to completely change different scenes majorly, that's when I don't like it.

Um........let me define what a trailer/TV spot/poster is.
They release a trailer. You watch it. You judge whether it looks good or bad. If you think it looks good, you most likely watch it. If you do not, you do not want to watch it.
These people are just doing exactly what a trailer is supposed to do, if we just acted like zombies and went to every movie regardless of how bad or good it looked our society wouldn't be too great.

The only thing that puts me off is the annoying little shit from Finding Neverland (I seem to be the only person who thought his performance was crap) but yeah, I really do agree with you. It looks fantastic.

Yeah, I don't understand people who say this looks bad. I think it looks awesome.
I'm a big fan of Roald Dahl, Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. I would of still liked to see Walken as Wonka but Depp seems like he abosorbed all the wackiness.
Can't Wait.

Wasn't Nic Cage up for the part? Not a good choice, weird, nontheless.
Walken would have been perfect, but I'm still happy with Depp.

If Walken was Willy Wonka. Children would need to see a shrink!
He is a bit to freaky.

Now that I think of it, even though Walken would look great as Wonka, I still see why Burton went with Depp. He is less eccentric and more appealing to a wider audience (especially the kids) but can still hold his own as an actor.
Chris Walken might just be the coolest man walking this Earth but he might be a bit 'too cool' for Wonka. Does anyone understand what I'm trying to say or do I sound like a raging drunk?
