You guess then post another random music trivia question.

I better post an easier question:

Haha. I mulled over this for quite a while earlier and was coming back just to guess The Killers.
Psycho - Do you have a link to that? I was only able to find one link with that quote online, and the link was dead. Everything I've read in trying to figure out the answer made it sound like Endicott appreciated The Killers, or at least wasn't going to give an opinion on them (especially in lieu of so much comparison) and that comment sounded like a bit of a stab. Is there any background on this?
I'll PM Paul to get 'em on the ball.

I'm at work at the moment so I haven't really got time to think of a COOL question, so this rather shite one must suffice for now...
What do the following have in common?
The Sweetest Thing (U2)
Leave Right Now (Will Young)

Girls & Boys (Blur)
Hip To Be Square (Huey Lewis & The News)
Sorry it's a bit lame.

Um, sorry Calf...wrong again.
Here's some whopping clues re: HOW the film was referenced.
Blur - See the video to "The Universal".
Heaven 17 - The film features our 'hero' talking to two lovely ladies about a band called "The Heaven Seventeen".
U2 - Their B-side, "Alex Descends Into Hell For a Bottle Of Milk/Korova" gives the film a nod. Bono and The Edge also produced the music for a stage version of the British film.
Um, maybe I made this too hard to begin with.
paul calf
04-19-2005, 01:25 PM
a clockwork orange i remember the universal video now.
the reason i said west side story was because blur had a song called jets and heavan 17 one called GEISHA BOYS AND TEMPLE GIRLS which was definatlybased on the movie.
i will be back with a question soon.
