Both Submariner and the Flash??

Is it really a good idea for Ryan Reynolds to play both The Flash and The Submariner?

I mean, won't people be confused seeing the same guy play two superheroes? Reynolds is becoming a star, coming out with some pretty good movies, or playing some cool roles, but I think he would be overstepping some bounds here. I think he should go with one and stick with it.

He should play Flash, he's perfect, but Submariner? I don't think that's a good role for him.

I see him more as the Flash too. Sub-mariner should be a more "ethnic" actor in my opinion. And no, I'm not trying to be racist, but I'd like to see and Pacific Islander or someone given a shot at Sub-mariner. I think it would be neat.

Reynolds would be great as The Flash. Besides, I thought The Rock was going to play The Submariner? I could see The Rock in that role alot more than I could Reynolds.

Why do they want to make movies based off those heros anyway? Seriously, I think those movies are going to suck.

i actually am a fan of the submariner comics themselves...how the movie would turn out, thats a big question mark, but hey why the hell not, every other comic book character seemingly got their chances, why not submariner ey?

but on the topic more-so, reynolds is definetly more suited for the flash then submariner,and should only do 1 indeed.

I don't know much about the Submariner, but I think the Flash could be a very cool movie with some great special effects. I agree with the consensus, so far, that Reynolds would be better as the Flash.

The Rock as the Submariner is cool casting as well.

Yeah, I like that idea a lot. Plus, it meets my "ethnic" actor requirement. Plus, Avi Arad has been saying for a long time that he thought the Sub-mariner would tranlate better to screen than any other Marvel character, in terms of visuals. I guess all the underwater environments would be cool. Plus, the Rock needs a franchise attached to his name already. He's the best action star around.

Yeah, Ryan is total Flash from what i've seen, but hes not a whole lot of submariner. The Rock as submariner would be rather interesting.

The Rock would kick all sorts of ass as Namor the Sub-Mariner. If he was to ever do a comic book movie, this would be it, it's just a perfect role for him in every way. I don't see him fitting any other comic book character at all, if you smell what I'm cooking :cool:.....

He's going to be tied up in the Flash franchise before he gets tied up in the Sub Mariner franchise first.
