Save the Green Planet

I saw "Save the Green Planet" last fall in a film class, and I have to say it is really amazing. A great mindf*ck movie, and while it runs a little long it's pretty consistently entertaining and really keeps you guessing as to what's going on. Just like the preview implies, too, it's a real genre-bender. I'm glad it's getting a release, even if it's limited, because that means it'll probably come to DVD at some point. Although bootleg dvds are available on ebay...

It’s showing on FilmFour (uk channel) soon, I’ll be tuning in for the frolics…seriously, it looks very interesting, the type of film that looks hard to slot into one genre, according to one source it’s a comedy/drama/science-fiction/fantasy/horror/foreign film. I’ve read several positive reviews, one saying that it’s a science-fiction slapstick is enough to nail me to the telly.
