WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!

When I first saw the previews for this in high school, I thought it sounded cool; vampires with kung fu(especially since Enter the Dragon had come out the year before).

When I finally saw it a few years later, I thought it wasn't bad. Peter Cushing, of course, is always worth watching, & the absence of Christopher Lee didn't damage the film as it otherwise may have, basically because he would've only been in the film for a few seconds at the very beginning & for a few seconds at the very end(that plus the fact that Lee was tiring of playing the Count by 1974-although that same year did see him narrate & appear in the wonderful documentary In Search of Dracula).

The only real thing the film had me scratching my head about was when Van Helsing's students make reference to his past encounters with Dracula, even though the Count had been taking up housekeeping in that monk's body for a full century by that point.

Otherwise, the film was entertaining. One could say it's Jason X with good acting & with a kung fu/vampire dynamic rather than a space/slasher one.

It's got to be one of Hammers strangest movies .
By no means a good film but it sure is good fun .

This one is one of my favorites, its offbeat, different and just plain fun. The kung fu brothers each with their won specialty in a different weapon, dracula looking like a chinese monk, Van Helsing returning and the weird Army of Zombies that pops up, I love the scenes where they are coming out of their graves, and that weird noise the make when they march together.

This one surprised me with some of its twists near the ending! I was like wait- no! That didnt just happen! It was great fun...and still remains one of my favorite Hammer films.

The Dracula aspect of this film is demonstrated in a not so spectacular light, but I do have to say I think the kung fu feel of the film comes really close to creating the atmosphere of many Shaw Bros classics. I enjoyed this one quite a bit.
