For the future mine is Los Angeles in Blade Runner.
For the past it is New York City in The Godfather

Blade Runner is an excellent choice...I would also like to add the floating planet city in Dark City...and one of my favorites the future settings in The Fifth Element.

As for the past I liked the old settings of New york in The Time Machine and the old settings of London in From Hell.

My vote goes to Rouge City (for the futuristic city, of course). It is a horny mans paradise. As for my favorite location in the past - ......hmmm. Im gonna go with the Shire, from LotR. Although it never actually excisted, it is still just peachy-keen.
