Where's our Land of the Dead trailer?

Hey all,
Where's the trailer for Land of the Dead? I thought for sure that we'd be seeing one by now, especially with news of some of the film being shown in May at Cannes and that the official release date has been moved up to late June (was it the 24th we are now hearing?).

First reports in from the field indicate that the 'Land of the Dead' trailer will be shown in front of xXx: State of the Union on 4/29. Right now the situation is fluid, new data suggests that an online trailer debut will occur the week of 4/29...

There are rumored details regarding the contents of the trailer:

We see scenes from each of the previous three movies, intercut as if they were news video footage ala the beginning of 28 Days Later. Black screen seperating each movie. Voiceover about the creative mastermind who brought you Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, and Day of the Dead comes... the screen goes black again...Land of the Dead!

Cut-To:

The actual content of the trailer in regard to new movie footage. There were the obligatory shooting scenes, cars, an explosion as well as shots of John Leguizamo and Dennis Hopper. There wasn't anything as far as dialogue goes, but the respondents (to the survey of the trailer) complained about that, so it's apt to change. Music composed of moody, classical instrumental rock with heavy bass line~

We are excited about this film , and as far as i'm concerned , you spat in the face of the shmoes with that sophmoric joke . Save that for some other site , i've come to expect a certain level of lighthearted , passionate decorum here , and you really utilized poor judgement with this joke , or whatever it was .

The trailer is pretty cool but it felt too much like the Dawn remake to me. I loved the opening splices of the other 3 films and the narrator in the trailer sounded awesome. The zombie makeup looked good and what you would come to expect. I loved Hopper's line in that 'Zombies freak me out man". I can tell he is gonna be classic in this

I'm not really a "zombie genre" fan but this trailer is amazing. I like how they rehash the directors past films and mention that it is a masterpiece in the genre that HE created. Makes me what to watch all the other ones!!!

Still want to see the uncut version , this is merely the junior version released to satisfy the zombie fans , i'm thinking october will see the dvd release of the director's cut . Hey , maybe if Land makes enough money , we'll get an uncut release in october , in the theater , that would be a nice surprise . I jus cant seem too get as excited as i should be because i know this is the mainstream , dumbed down version , no matter how good it may be , i already know the complete film is out there somewhere .


And Dig , that is a nice combo , as will War and Undead a week later :D .
