Basically he complains that he didn't know who the director would be, or what the screenplay would be, or who the cast would be, before it was too late to make changes.
Um, Wes, aren't you one of the film's Producers? Isn't it your job to know this stuff? I knew Goyer was going to direct it, like, two years ago... what's your excuse?
And he plays the race card.
Of course this news comes out just prior to the DVD going on sale, which will generate hype (any publicity is good publicity) and sell more copies, which will of course make Snipes more money, as he is a star and producer of said film.
