Bride of Frankenstein

Many critics say this is superior to the original. I'm not sure which I prefer better myself; they're both different and enjoyed on their own merits. The idea was unique and creative, working well. The entire film is easily watchable, with a strong ending, and the personality of Frankenstein is further explored and (slightly) changed.

Anyone else here a fan?

Frankenstein is a little more straight ahead horror, where Bride of.. has more of a fantasy element. This is the strangest entry in the Frankenstien series thats why it probably stands up to the original. Using the same actress to play the pretty Mary Shelly and the ugly monster was a neat touch.

its been a long time since i saw Bride Of Frankenstein but remember that it's an amazing film, lots of great sets, acting and atmosphere with a great story from beginning to end. i also found it to be much better than Frankenstein
