Anyone who sat through last summer's Alien vs. Predator walked out wondering, how could they have messed that up so spectacularly? Even if it wasn't Oscar-worthy material, it should at least have thrilled the core fanbase. Where did they go wrong? Bernie Hou knows: They should've turned it into a sitcom.
For the price of a few action figures, Hou's ongoing web comic, Alien Loves Predator (www.alienlovespredator.com), starring the titular critters living as roommates in New York, features better characterization (and plot coherance) than Fox's action-sci-fi debacle could muster for $65 million.
