Any T.V. show. Could be from the 60's, 70's, whatever. For me, it's a tie between Seinfeld and Friends (no ragging on my choices, thank you). Which would you pick?

I'd choose this one, too, but only and an animated movie and not a live-action movie.

ThereWolf would like to see "The Munsters" made into a movie. Done well, like The Addams Family, not lousy like Car 54, Where Are You?.

Anybody remember the show AUTOMAN, from back in 1983?
It was about this police forensics/computer expert who accidentally creates the perfect cyber-being. It had some spectacular special effects, especially for a TV show in the early 80s. I bet that'd make a really cool movie.

I'd love to see "The Simpsons" get down and dirty (moreso than usual) in a theatrical version of their TV series, like SOUTH PARK!
I'd love to hear Bart say "FUCK"!

Not sure if it's been done; The Prisoner.Brilliant location at Portmeirion,North Wales and one of the most original cult programmes.

Other than Seinfeld, I'd love to see my three favorite shows of all time made into movies :
The Wonder Years
Freaks And Geeks
My So-Called Life

BAKE/COW..."The Wonder Years" and "Freaks & Geeks" are two of my favorite TV series of all-time as well.
Theatrical versions of each would have to be reunion shows (and we all know what happened to the "Wonder Years" characters as Daniel Stern narrated the devastating series finale in 1993).
Unless they go "The Brady Bunch" route and recast all of the major roles in order to keep the characters "young and youthful".
"Freaks & Geeks" needed a better sendoff. I totally identified with that series because I myself was 14 (like the Sam Weir) character in 1981.

What...you mean the movie that inspired the TV show isn't enough for you?
I'm kidding; I'd love to see them do a film with this cast- maybe a crossover w/ "Angel"- and Joss the head cheese. That would be excellent.
As for "The Simpsons," that would be cool (while "Futurama" would be even better). But I like what Matt Groening said about a "Simpsons" movie a few issues back in "Cinescape":
"The other thing is, why do a feature-length movie when you can see the show three times a day on TV?"
Genius.

I'd have to say "FREAKY LINKS" loved that show too bad it got cancelled. I'd like to see them make a renew the T.V series: "Tales From the Crypt".With new episodes and new stars.

You are absolutely right. Freaks & Geeks was a funny, touching perfectly cast show. I couldn't believe it was cancelled after only one year. What the hell was NBC thinking? It didn't deserve that at all. If only the movie was being made, I'd be thrilled.

I'd LOVE to see someone do a big screen, updated version of the The Prisoner!!
I can just imagine the treatment... a young female agent (think Le Femme Nikita or Alibi) decides to quit her post, only to fins herself the next mmorning in a secluded town. There's no way off due to the rolling security (update the bubbles to some hight-tech machines) and there are only two other people on the island, a man who only refers to himself as "Number 6" and another who is referred to as "Number 2". Which of the two men can she honestly trust to help her regain her freedom?

I wouldn't mind seeing a Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie if it's like the show and not like the old movie.

The original concept for ER was as a film and I'd love to see a really fast paced medical movie.

Blackadder, Seinfeld or Father Ted. The last one isn't likely to happen unless they somehow reanimate Dermot Moron.

I would love to see McGyuver made into a movie, but now that they don't show that wonderful show anymore on TV, I guess it isnt too likely.
